Security and privacy

Built private from the first line of code.

A household’s records are among the most personal information a family has. How Hausly handles them was decided before the first feature was built, not added afterward as a policy page.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

Your documents and household data are protected while they move and while they are stored.

Access you control

Choose what each person can see, from calendars to sensitive records. Access is granted, never assumed.

Restricted production access

Access to production data is restricted to the founder and logged. Role-based controls and formal review are being implemented ahead of the first hire.

What we don’t do

You are not the product.

Hausly is built around utility and trust, not ad targeting or data resale. These are commitments, not preferences.

No data resaleHausly does not sell household data to anyone
No advertisingThere are no ads inside the product
No external model trainingHousehold content is not used to train outside AI models
Children’s privacy

Family accounts, built with care.

Children can be part of a household with age-appropriate access that parents control. Hausly collects only what a family account needs to function, and a child can be added or removed at any time.
