Why I’m building Hausly.
I’m Jordan Van Dyne. For nearly twenty years I’ve worked as a sales engineer, translating complex technical systems into something people can actually use — first as co-founder of Partsters, an electronic components distributor, then in fluidics and automation at Bürkert Fluid Control Systems, solving process control problems for pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and industrial clients.
Complex systems don’t fail on the complex parts.
They fail on schedules, handoffs, and paperwork nobody can find. I spent two decades watching that happen on plant floors — and then started noticing the same failure in the homes around me. Friends and family running households on group texts, sticky notes, and four different apps, with no single source of truth anywhere.
So I built the system they needed
Running a household shouldn’t be harder than running a sales territory. Hausly is a private, calm home base that holds schedules, documents, chores, and records in one trustworthy place — built on the same systems thinking that solved these problems in industry.
